Minolta Maxxum 7 - Minolta 35-70mm f4 - 70mm f5.6 1/90s - UltraFine 100 - Rodinal.
I'm not sure if I got a really good copy of this lens or if Minolta just screwed up by making it a zoom lens. At the other focal lengths it's barely useable until stopped down to f8-11. At 70mm it's tack sharp wide open and works great at all distances.

Great work, @lamefrog - thanks for posting these.
Quite apart from your self-evident photographic 'eye', your work is also a timely reminder of just what an extraordinary compact film camera the XA2 is. To my shame, my XA2 has been sitting idle for a few months.
However, as luck would have it, it is already loaded with TMax 400

Charles, Such a beautiful long tonal range.

Thanks Deardorff38 - the light was so directional but such gorgeous medium soft spring light that the interior was bathed in it and so the push simply made for a degree more contrast, which added to the definition of the pillars and vaulting. A day I shall remember for some time - I had this exquisite building largely to myself.

Thanks Erik and thanks tbhv55 for the nice comments . tbhv55, I bought the XA2 before this trip because I was warned that walking around Manila with a camera around your neck or at your wrist was not a good idea. Exploring the city hands free was totally liberating (no bag, no backpack, nothing!) and I blended right in. The XA series is really unique combination in this regard - pocketability + performance . awesome camera.

Charles : I'm surrounded by beautiful baroque churches here but I was never able to get as nice a shot because of the light levels and so I can appreciate the achievement
Pan: Nice accutance and detail there
Also like Vagab0nds shot with that special Rodinal patina
