Nice composition, Pan. And shadow.

Pan, I agree with Larry, the composition is interesting and the division of light and dark surfaces is very beautiful, almost a chiaroscuro painting.

I like how they relate to their space - laying, not sitting. Very nice.

Vince Lupo
Whatever
This is part of a shoot from 17 years ago - a story about a beauty pageant called ‘Queen of the Chesapeake’. I did it for Chesapeake Bay Magazine, and won an International Regional Magazine Association (IRMA) award for it. One day I’ll do some better scans!

Very old school head shot. Canon Ftb, 35mm either PanX or PlusX, D76.
Not a very good scan of a test print (but it's all I have left) of my friend Angie, including early generation scanner artifacts like streaks and unnatural, milky blacks. Done in my parents' living room with sheet as a backdrop. Both of us young and inexperienced. She used this when she was trying to get her film acting career off the ground.

brusby--great photo--and very pretty lady! How did her film acting career end up?

Thanks Paulbe. She's done well and has made a career of it. Her first notable success was right after we took this photo, landing a role in what some consider a cult classic -- the film Robocop -- and several of the sequels as Robocop's wife.
