Thanks Xabier, i started liking the Minolta AF 50/f1.7 more and more. It is not a sharp lens, especially wide open, but it has a nice character.
Here is another picture with this lens, i have posted it in one of the previous pages of this thread it think.

Pan I'm with you, everything isn't about sharpness. I also find "character" in a lens, like in the G.Zuiko 50mm 1.4.
