Dear Helen,
Thank you so much, it really means a lot to me that you wrote what you did.
I wish I could say that it is what it is, c'est la vie, and all that, but it's been frustrating and very difficult not being able to take photos. I've known it was coming for 12 years but doesn't seem to make it any easier.
I have been so thankful and a bit surprised by all the support that so many members of this forum have shown me.
I can't shoot anymore, but I am still here and have things I can still do. I recently published my 5th photozine, and am currently working on putting together a 6th. Last year I published a hardcover photobook which I think was a huge success, so I am hoping to do another book if I have the time and energy.
Again, thank you so much,

Thank you Xabier.
Yes, I no longer have the energy and strength to go out and shoot
I have been collecting film for 10 years and have an entire freezer full of film.
The freezer was a birthday gift that I bought my wife, and she has been gracious about allowing me to use it, but now it's time to empty it out.

Again, thank you so much,
Colton, I was also shocked and saddened to hear that you are no longer able to take photos. Like Helen said, you have a really unique gift of seeing beautiful details in the mundane, and I've been inspired by your work since I joined the forum. Thank you for continuing to share your wonderful work with us, and I'll be on the lookout for your next zine. All my best to you and your family.
