Love this one, Pan. Really wonderful. We're in apple country, too, and picking them each year is definitely a marker of change. For me your photo suggests so much. If it were mine I'd frame it.

I haven't been in this thread for a while. It seems to have slowed a bit. I'm trying digital more now with a new GR IIIx. Not sure yet where this will lead, but I'm really enjoying 40mm and its carry-everywhere quality.

Thank you John for your comment, it was the last frame of the roll, I shot it to finish it off and now feels bitter-sweet seeing these pictures. I think I am starting hibernating, I spend less time online and more time watching documentaries. I have a few more summer pics, I will scan them one day.

Enjoy your Ricoh, I have a soft spot for Ricoh lenses, I always liked them.

What a lovely experience this was. Quite a long hike to get to this spot. Who says you can't use Monorail View Cameras in the field?

Thank you Pan, After deciding that 11x14" was as large as i wanted to print that image, I tried a few papers and the Foma WT held the delicacy of the sun coming across the ridge from the left, and at the same time provided good detail in the glacier tongue on the right.
