Could be the brother of Jan Wolkers.
Funny. His business is close to where Jan Wolkers used to live - before 1981 - in the Uiterwaardenstraat. I myself also live there. When Jan Wolkers left the studio building in the Zomerdijkstraat in 1981, I moved in there. Since then I live there.
Jan Wolker's last wife, Karina, also lived in the Uiterwaardenstraat. Jan could see her house from his studio. I will ask the bicycle repairman if his mother knew Jan Wolkers.
Erik.

Thank you Joao…Impressive ! Perfect choice of lens, film and point of view. I like the curves of the ship, the tonalities of grey and the great composition.

I shot this 7 years ago with my 5x7 Deardorff, 115mm Grandagon and think it was HP5 in HC110B.
The old guys hang out on the porch of this 100+ year old flour and corn mill pretty much 5 days a week. It’s located in a neighboring county in a gorgeous remote area overlooking the mountains. All of the milling equipment remains but the building is now used as a small engine repair shop.
