I was asked to take photos at a Cultural Festival and I decided to use my RX1.
I set it up in jpeg mode only—I knew I wouldn't have hard disk space nor time to post-process hundreds of raw files—choosing the “vivid” preset, auto-ISO up to 3200, aperture priority, and manual focus, with back-button focusing.
Despite the very harsh lightning conditions (strong points of artificial light in an otherwise dimly lit environment), I was surprised by how well the RX1 behaved, both in terms of colour rendition and focus accuracy. Here are some examples, with just some minor adjustment applied in LR:
