Post your X-Pro1 images...

Thanks Paul T., benlees, rbelyell!

@rbelyell: #1, 2, 3, and 5 were with the 35 1.4, #4 was with an old Canon FD 70-210 f/4, and #6 was with an old Meyer Görlitz Oreston 50/1.8 M42.
I also have the 18 2.0, which i really like.

After the sad death of my M8 sensor I found myself in possession of a Fuji X-Pro1/18mm & 35mm lenses and a Kipon M adapter. I have posted some shots that have been edited in LR4. I must say, it's a rather nice camera.

Rich: Tell me about those b&w photos ... I'm a bit intrigued about how they were produced/processed.

Everything is processed through Lightroom. To get the best possible image I need to nail the exposure. I have a bunch of presets I've developed that make it a bit quicker but each shot needs some TLC.

Thanks for asking.

Couple of shots from my quick venture out tonight, standard shot I take near where I stay to test out new kit!

Had a quick wander with the camera tonight, trying to get a feel for it and the 35mm before I decide whether to buy the 18mm or 60mm to accompany it.
First was really just a test of f1.4 on the lens and the depth of field but I prefer it in B&W, converted in Silver Efex Pro 2

The second I really liked the clouds in the sky and again preferred the conversion into B&W

Chris- I have not heard good things about the 60mm Macro so I went with the 18mm f2 and have to say that I use it more than the 35mm now. I also got a Kipon M adapter and I used my Leica fit lenses with it too. I have not tried the 60mm macro to be fair but I know someone who 'HAD' it and was so disappointed by focus speed, accuracy, and overall image quality, he said it missed focus many times, maybe he got a bad copy?... I would say, if you are not going to use it AS a macro then opt for a Voigtlander 50mm and an adapter, similar price, better performance.

Thanks mate, I've heard mixed reports about the 60mm, mainly saying that the IQ is outstanding but focusing is a bit mince.

I've got a Canon FD 50 lens which I've had on a m4/3 body so will pickup an adaptor for that and give it a go, I don't use longer lengths a lot anyway but I like to have the option!

Loving the 35mm and will be ordering the 18mm tonight from Amazon, at least if I don't like it for any reason I can return to Amazon,
