I bought the wife an X10, but I find I use it more than her. It´s a nice tool, second to my X-E1. I still have the D300, awaiting an offer on it, but have decided to leave it in it´s case until it´s sold.
One major advantage of small sensor cameras is that you can get sharpish shots at ridiculously slow shutter speeds. This was shot, ISO 800, at 1/7th of a second, and that at the long end of the tele. The vignetting is added post processing.
