Forgive the elementary question, but how does one place a larger image into a message posting? In the past, I have always uploaded the image from my computer and the image appeared as a thumbnail at the end of my post. To include a larger image, do I have to provide a link to an online gallery or host? Or is there a way I can I still upload individual images from my computer? Thanks for the advice!

If I want to post a larger sized image in a thread here, I upload to flickr and copy the image from there. I've never figured out how to post anything larger than thumbnails from the gallery. Please let us know if you figure out or recall how to do that!

@Steve,
From the gallery I know :)

Open photo in gallery,
Left click on "send as e-card" symbol,
Then right click on the image and left click on "properties",
On the pop up window select by dragging mouse over address (the one which ends in .jpg), and copy.
Then, in thread reply box, paste the address in the window which pops up when you click on "image" symbol.

Thanks, Richard!

We can't do Richard's method here in this thread because the IMG code is off in this forum. See bottom left of screen.

But I just used his method in Critiques | Street 22 May successfully. IMG code is on there.

Hmm... I just drag the photo from the gallery window to the place in the post window where I want it to go...

I don't have any other online location for my pics, so if it's not in my Gallery here, then it's going to appear in the post as a thumbnail. Or, if it's already been used in a different thread, then that fact will be noted when I try to upload the pic. Then I use the link in the upload window to locate the post., open the pic and, again, simply drag it to the new post, where it appears full size.
