Is it possible to include software/feature which automatically resizes photos deemed too large to post on RFF?
I have photos which i'd like to share but don't because of the work involved. I have minimal computer and image processing resources available, but more importantly, if there are too many steps involved in sharing, I don't bother.

Yes that would be a great help and would def get more photos in the threads.

the present software does not allow that.
Once the new software is in place, posting pics will be much easier.

Fantastic! Thank you, Stephen. Is there an ETA on that?

Thanks Stephen - I've wanted automatic resizing for some time and suggested its inclusion a year or so back. It should encourage more postings to the Gallery.

You can resize in batch using "Easy Thumbnails", free software and really easy to use. And resizing before uploading takes it easier on your internet connection.

PS flickr has done this for years... A huge reason why I still use it even after all their butchering.
