Can someone tell me how to go about posting images in a thread so they don't come up as thumbnail attachments? I tried to search but could not come up with anything? Also, I want to apologize if I put this in the wrong forum.

Use the URL for the actual full-size image, paste it into your message, and contain it in img tags. Example here, which I just used on a LV chat board a few minutes ago:

If your photos are hosted on a website such as flickr, photobucket etc. then click on the button above the reply window, that looks like a landscape with a setting sun. Paste the url for the location where the photo is hosted on the web into the box that opens and click "OK."
