When I try to post to the forum with my new Win 7 computer I get a black background and black letters as I post. Can anyone tell me what I am doing wrong? I a able to post this using my fairly new laptop computer.
Also, are images limited to 600 x 600 or can I copy and paste the URL from Flickr with a larger image?

I was having problems too when I got a new laptop with Win 8 and Internet Explorer 10. If you have IE10, you can download a different browser or do what I do with IE10:
-Click on 'Tools' (gear in top right corner),
-Click on 'F12 Developer Tools',
-Click on 'Browser Mode IE:10 and change it to 'Internet Explorer 8'
-then close the developer window at the bottom.

Not a unique problem, and the suspicion generally falls on your choice of internet browser. Microsoft Internet Explorer, despite its popularity, is often a problem for RFF's software. So you might try a different browser; Chrome, FireFox, and Safari are usually ok.

Thanks for the instruction. It didn't work the first time, but it did the second.

Your cat likes climbing telephone poles eh? Thats funny! You know, working for the telephone company for 38 1/2 years, I've only met one cat up a pole. I've met lots of birds, bugs and the occasional squirrel, but only one cat up there.Overkill

On the lower left corner there's Vb code. That has a bunch of options that can change it to B&W

Never had a problem with Firefox or Chrome, either with XP or Android...
On the lower left corner of what? I'm a photographer, analog, one, each, not a computer whiz. On IE I get black type on a black background unless I highlight it but it won't fly. The other thingamabob won't let me change IE10. I think I'll just go back to my Bilora Bella 66. That's cranky enough for me.
