Just got back from viewing "The Dark Knight" and I enjoyed it.
Lots of action and really good character development and plot. Combined with a decent theme to the movie and it's a winner all around.

Now, that said, without giving out too many spoilers, but for those that have seen the film, was that a Leica M (of some unknown #.. either M6, M7 or M8 me thinks) that Christian Bale was using during the character's visit to Hong Kong?

The viewfinder was DEFINITELY a Leica but not sure about what M model it was and my google fu has come up empty on this one. Anyone else notice it?

Cheers,
Dave

Well.. you don't see the brand name.. all you see is Bruce Wayne removing a camera from his eye level... and because you see it as you're looking over his shoulder, you see the eyepiece / viewfinder. There's not many that look like that :)

That's why I believe it was a Leica.

Cheers,
Dave

Yes, it was, and I remember laughing at that when it came up. I don't remember. Blasts, I guess I have to watch the movie again...(which was very good; not for the easily-creeped-out)

Excellent.. this confirms what I saw !!! :)
On location in Hong Kong for a few scenes.. I figured a billionaire like Bruce Wayne would have a Leica (if not many of them) :D

I tried to spot if it was a Leica as well, but I don't think they had a shot showing the camera. But judging from the strap, which was fairly thin and looked like the standard M strap, I think it was an M.

>sienarot, you're probably right about it being an M10! perhaps it comes with an IMAX adaptor!

i recall that it was an m camera from the strap and the way it was sitting on his sport coat. i recall that it was a leica, i'd guess an m8 or an MP.
