If all else fails you could try liking the tip of your finger and sticking in the battery compartment. Although it has never worked for me. Last time my batteries went out I resorted to paper and crayons. Wife liked it better than my photos.😀
Oic. I raised this question as I am thinking of a used M2 or a used M3 or a ZI, ZI is my first choice becoz it is not a used one and it fits M mount lenses, but I do worry the power problem.
There is no power problem. The batteries last long, are very small and are of a very common type you get everywhere on the planet. There is no reason to worry. If you do worry, put a blister of two in your wallet.
If faced with your choice, I would buy the ZI without hesitation.
i keep a spare pair of batteries in every camera bag i own.
my buddy wears a hearing aid and has a special, small battery holder on his key chain, i plan to get one of those also.
i wouldn't let a battery stop me from buying a camera.
