Last week my little sister was coming over to Berlin with her boyfriend for a visit. She didn't have a camera with her, so I gave her my M5 with an Industar-61 and a roll of XP2, explained rangefinder focusing to her and told her how the meter works. And off she went for a day. Here's two pictures from her output.

Her boyfriend in front of Article 5 of the German Constitution ("Every person shall have the right freely to express and disseminate his opinions in speech, writing, and pictures and to inform himself without hindrance from generally accessible sources" - he's a bit of a free speech advocate)

Looks like she has "the eye". Did I mention that I'm proud of my sister? I'm giving her a camera for Christmas.

I like my family. Four years ago I gave my brother a used EOS-10 with a generic zoom lens before he went to Ghana for a year, and two years ago before he went to Cuba I gave him an EF 50/1.8 lens to go with it, and he brought back some amazing pictures from both stays.

Those are some beautiful shots!

Another cheer here for helping family members out and getting results; I had my sister (Who's only normal photographic interest is endless 'self-portraiture' for myspace) make my senior portrait, and it came out better than all the generic professional shots everyone else had!
