Does anyone here have experience with the Pradolux RT-300 slide projector marketed by Leitz back in the 1980's? They were actually made by Singer Sewing Machine Company (or so I've read) and they use the Kodak circular slide trays.

Yes, Singer also made a great Slide Projector / table top slide viewer combo. it had a 12" frosted rear projection screen for table top use.

The RT 300 was considered a high end projector.

I have 2 of these and they are fine EXCEPT for the autofocus.
It is simply terrible. Sluggish and is constantly "hunting" for the correct setting.
Of course, you can always turn the autofocus off...
The Colorplan lens with the RT300 is excellent.
I believe the manufacturer's name was/is Telex--division of Singer.
A better value is the Kodak Ektagraphic III with a good lens.
Very inexpensive, readily available, and the autofocus is superb.
Good luck!!
