Recently one kind member posted a list of Camera Stores in Prague. I'm just back and footsore. The two in Vodickova (the street with the trams which joins the middle of Wencelas Sq) were very interesting. I found a little store opposite the Bethlehem Chapel and the nice restaurant next door, the elderly owner had some nice stuff in good condition.
Now have a Fed Zarya near mint, which cost 1200Kr about £30. with Industar26 and case.
Just ran a film through it and looks great.
Thanks to the contributor who posted the list of stores  .
I also now have a years supply of Foma 100, an excellent film.

You had more luck than me with that store on Betlemski, then... every time I passed it, it was closed. Wha do you use for developing the Foma 100? I like it at EI80 with Rodinal 1+50.

Thats a shame Roman, the guy was very nice, though he spoke only Czech. He carefully inspected the camera and checked everything was working. He then wrote out an old fashioned receipt, the kind with blue carbon paper. I think they live above the store. The place looks as though it has been there a long time.
I'll try you suggestion for the Foma, Rodinal is my preferred dev, i've used it for 50yrs. Just shows how old I'm getting.
Best regards John.
PS must get back to Wien before I get too old. I was in Innsbruck a few years ago, but I love Vienna!! Used to stay in the YH at Potzleinsdorf.

I just looked up my dev. times - at EI 80 I develop it in Rodinal 1+50 for 8:30 min. at 20°C (30 sec. constant, then 3 inversions at the beginning of every minute).

PS: With me it's the other way round - I like to get out of Vienna as much as I can before I get too old!

You're welcome
I bought a fed-1 in excellent condition in the store near the bethlehem chapel for 1000Kr. Didn't have the time to develop any film yet, but i'm hoping for the best

To stay on topic (topic= beer, Prague & photos), i will now post my first rangefinder photo on the internet
The picture is of a bar in Prague, with 12 draft beers, on the picture are: Beamish, Stella artois, Velvet, Kelt and some Tsjech pilsner. (It's a small scan from a very cheap flatbed scanner, so the quality isn't very good)

Looks familiar, though the alcoholic haze makes them all look that way. Back home now to lukewarm Tennants 70/- in Scotland. I'll stick to Whisky!
Thanks again Joris maybee we'll meet in Prague sometime.!
