Praktica FX2 anyone shoot one?

No, but I have used an FX3, with an f2 Biotar lens. I have the eye level viewer on mine, which makes it much easier to use than with the waist level finder.
 
I've had a few of the FX cameras. I can't really recommend them. I bought them because they seem to be the cheapest way to get a WLF for 35mm. Now I've had more experience, I know why they don't sell for that much. An early Miranda (model D, F), an Exakta, or an Edixa gives one a better camera overall, and the option of using a WLF.
 
Thanks tuna. I was looking to get a 35mm with WLF, to try. The one I am looking at, not in hand, seems to be in exc condition, and the finder seems very clear and bright. What is the main complaint?
 
I've got an " FX 2 " with a film in but I've yet to get around to using it. I'm in the middle of films in my Selfix 16-20, Praktica PLC3 and Super Silette so I probably won't be using the FX 2 for a short while.

I must say I was surprised at how bright the viewfinder is. I stopped my Pentacon electric 50mm f1.8 down to f2.8 to try and get a better idea of what the iewfinder would have looked like with a contemporary lens and I couldn't see any real difference.
