have a Question for the Barnack gurus....
on the IIf there is a dial under the shutter speed knob
with numbers ranging from 0 to 20
what is that for ?????
Thanks !
I can only recall that when using electronic flash you set "20" and 1/50.

The ring under the dial sets the flash-delay.
Thanks Michael, the Xenon is really starting to grow on me

Nice, Rick! About time somebody started doing model shoots with vintage gear and dress again here!

Don't get your hopes up too much Johan. I don't know if this is a continuing trend yet.
Looking for a volunteer or two for a shoot at Fort St-Andries soon, while there is still some daylight left in the years

Muriel Wright.....right? Anne, the model, has got nothing to worry about as far as I can tell.
Next time I'll try something with a little less IR sensitivity I think.

Pretty awesome, Rick! With the first shot of the 1900s dress I wasn't convinced but this one won me over: painterly rendering thanks to old glass and film!
Thanks for sharing!

...agree Rick, wonderful shots. I love the mystique smile of your model in your last post. Kind of Mona Lisa...

Rick,
That Xenon certainly suits your style - I geuss you just have to remember the lens hood!

Really love how a Summar renders on film. Impressive for a lens design that old.
Love that last shot, Markus!
