Newst, Lovely photographs. I don't think i've every seen colour images from a 35mm 3.5. Fine & tiny lens.

Thank you. I discovered by accident that the old, uncoated lenses tend to deliver a beautiful, pastel palette with color film. This entire project was an experiment. My first outing with an unmetered camera (used my cellphone) the first time out with a Canon P, using the Elmar with color film and using the LOMO 800. So I had no idea what to expect. Everything just came together better than I had any right to expect.

I think I might have shot Ektar 100 with a 35mm f/3.5 Elmar back in 2010. But I'd have to check.
I found my copy of "Cleaning old Leica Lenses and Accessories" from Nobby Sparrow over the weekend and set about cleaning my 28mm f/6.3 Hektor.
Managed to clean all air-surfaces. Should reduce glow a bit.

You are right, but the Leica III is certainly prewar. And still going strong.
