Pretty black Minolta...

Looks nice, but there's high probability that the meter was rendered useless by DIY "repair" :(

naah... should be just some broken wire or something... i mean, how could he completely break it? it's not a complicated meter, just one photodiode in a circuit. If it stays at this low price, i'd love to try to repair it. Of course, 16$ extra for airmail to europe...

Even with a dead meter if it stays at that price it will be a bargain... Remember that is the only one from the cousin set (Konica Auto S3, Viv 35ES, Revue 400SE) with full manual operation as well (or so I think).

If he was able to cross thread the retaining ring and leave it that way, there really is no end to the possibilities of other screw ups. At a minimum, I'm sure he twisted a wire off of the CdS cell - I can't say I'd be too confident that his shutter blade clean-up went well if he couldn't properly seat a retaining ring.

I think he probably cost himself $100-$150 by doing it himself.

My bet, it will sell north of $75 as is.

If it was working, I know I'd be bidding on it to add to my growing 70's black RF collection.

BTW, I have now run film through all my 70's black RF, and they all work beautifully. Still hunting for black 7sIIs (damn on this one), another QL17 GIII, 35CCN, and a GTN. If you run across one, let me know.

I don't know Pherdinand. IF Steve were to aquire your CC, and we talk about your TLR you could go deep into a new Contax kit.

I already have a CC also, and I'm not selling it either. Double :p :D :D

Oh wait. A new deal in the works!! Ok, maybe I don't really have one then!!!

Damn, too late. Photographic evidence already posted :(

21 hours left at $36 (and no - I have no interest in it myself) :)

yeah, stephen, but yours is too yellow :p Mine has no color cast! (he's just a little bit shy)

Yours has no color cast, cause its got only one color, Black! Is there really a camera in that photo, or are you just pulling our chain??? :D :D

$71 bucks already, and its broken!! Broken I say, just plain broken!!

Where is my spray paint! I've got a couple broken chrome ones I can't give away!!

Holy crap...over $100 now...

Rich

Regardless of the camera make or quality, the fact that it is black, is worth another $75.00 It's common knowledge that black models make much superior images than their chrome brethren.

I am thoroughly convinced that if I paint my (softer) GIII QL-17 black, that it'll greatly improve the sharpness of the negatives.....

Hey Joe

How can I send you your FREE rangefinder filter's, without your mailing address? Or do I just send them to the first one in the group that asks for them?
