I have 2 Canonet GIII QL17 cameras I will be listing for sale and need ideas as to how much to ask.

(Canonet #1) In excellent condition with minor scuffing but no dents clean damage free glass and everything working as it should with poor condition case, strap, and original cap and new door seals..

(Canonet #2) Also in excellent condition with minor scuffing but no dents clean damage free glass and everything working as it should with new door seals.. This one has the battery door but has a broken part so it will fall off when opening but is secure when closed.. No cap or strap..

Both are excellent shooters...

These usually go for 50 - 60 bucks unless they've been CLA'd. Broken parts all diminish its worth. There were just so darn many of these made... BTW, if you sell, the made in Japan are usually more sought after, than the Taiwan variety. To some, this won't matter, however. Good luck.

It seems that the price for these is on the rise again. For awhile they were selling for pretty low prices; I got mine for $15 in working condition, and now with new seals, a working meter, original lens cap, Canon hot-shoe cover, Canolite D flash, dedicated Canonet lens shade, and a very clean, scratch-free body, I'm sure I could sell it for a very good price, but I'll never do so. It's one of my best and favorite cameras, film or digital. The fact that you can now consider selling your camera at a starting price of $50 is a big improvement over the last year or two, but it certainly sounds reasonable for one in great condition.

I bought mine about 4 months ago for 96$, it´s in EX+ condition. Minor scratch on the body but everything works 100% and smoothly.
