Price check, Summicron 35 and Elmar M

the 50 elmar collapsable (latest version) was one of the nicest lenses i have ever used...it draws so very nice...

I have seen the 35 Summicron v2 M3 version seen for around US$1500 in reasonable good condition, US$1300 ~ 1400 with slight haze etc. I think the price really depends on the condition in case of this lens.

OOPS, just saw you mentioned v2.

Just checked the prices for v1 M2 versions. The last ungoggled summicrons sold on eBay went for US$2600, $2300, $1652, $2500, $2203, $2495, $1730, $2850.
Goggled ones went for $1564 and $1154, one with fungus for $629

Those are amazing prices for 50-60 year old lenses!

I picked up the gear to sell yesterday. Today I checked the lenses with a small flashlight. The 50mm Elmar M looks really good, but the 35 Summicron has some haze. Would it be better to sell as is for less, or get it cleaned first and sell for more? I should shoot some film with it to test it.

I would clean the Summicron. You can get the cost back.
