Price of Mamiya 7 lenses--USA and abroad

I just got a Mamiya 7II with the normal 80mm lens. Great camera!

I would like to get a wide angle lens for it, as I do mostly landscape and architecture (i.e. just interesting buildings, I'm not a pro architectural photographer). Either the 43mm or the 50mm, not sure which. (Any comments?)

I will be in the UK and Italy for several months this spring, and have heard that Mamiya lenses (new and used) might be less expensive there than in the USA. If so, can anyone suggest a good place to look, say in London or Milan?

Thanks. Great forum! I look forward to reading more, and learning, as the Mamiya is new to me after many years of 35mm SLR shooting (though I did start out, many years ago, with a used Leica RF).

I just bought the mamiya 7II and a 43mm both of them brand new from Accphoto. send him an email for the best price. I paid 2300.00 for both pieces and they came from Hong Kong in 3 days. I have no problem buying from accphoto. I have purchased from him before and always reliable.

Get the 43, no question, if you are looking for wonderful, clear, sharp, wonderful, wide photographs.

Thanks for the advice. It looks like the 43mm is the way to go, from all the positive things I've heard, here and elsewhere. I'll check with accphoto.
