What is going price for brand new M8?

5495 US Dollars at www.bhphotovideo.com seems to be the new price.
Although last week, I saw a brand new and very last one at Camera Exchange in Melbourne, Australia priced at 5850 AUD, it was one of the old stock when the Australian Dollar was strong compared to nowadays...

Now do you mean the price of the latest M8 (i.e. M8.2) or a new original M8 version? They are different.

I got the one from Camera Lane (lt Burke ! I think...) in that timeframe, and a friend got a Nikon at the same time from another shop.
The local price was better than B&H with the exchange rate, and he was traveling so that got factored in too...
Camera Electronic (Perth) had some M'ates for 5500, which I was looking at before 'Lane...
But when the price dropped to around 10.1/6.1 of an RD1 - I couldn't resist.
I could justify the outdated 8
, but the 8.2 for more - I couldn't...
