It was good to see that prices in the iGavel auction were reasonable and a good benchmark for values in future.
I am fed up with the hyperbole and ludicrously inflated Buy It Now prices of some (but not all) online dealers who appear to think anything with Leica or Leitz on it is effectively the Holy Grail and worth its weight in gold.
There was some seriously silly money spent but it was on the genuinely rare items, not the stuff most collectors will ever see. S
