hi

i was wondering if anyone had any idea on current pricing of very well conditioned LTM nickel heliar 50/3.5 plus 50mm finder that went out with the bessa t 101 anniversary editions? of course these are for many years discontinued, i understand maybe 2000 made? and kind of hard to come by, though rated as one of the best lenses ever?

i could be wrong on some (all?) counts, but if anyone knows any more accurate info on this combo and its pricing, i would very much appreciate it!

thanks!
tony

I bought a Blue Bessa T 101 with the 50mm a few months ago, and paid around £550 for the set (with trigger winder, which I never use).
I'd say the lens is worth more than the camera, but since it's a set, I can't really say exactly.
It's a nice, but fiddly lens, the aperture is attached to the lens hood, which is odd, but I'm getting used to it.
I've only run a couple of films through it, but it appears to be extremely sharp, even wide open, probably the sharpest I've owned, optically, it seems perfect, good contrast, nice colours, not a bad word to say about it.

thanks alot. no i dont want the kit, just some thoughts on the lens/finder combo that i,m thinking of buying, so i'm wondering what a 'going' price is of the combo.
