I recently bought one of these on eBay:

I got it today and the camera looks to be in reasonably good shape for such an ancient piece of work, especially the lens with no major issues. The shutter may not work, it's not clear, as one person told me I need to have film in the camera to get the shutter to work (I doubt that). Right now I cannot figure out how to open the camera back to even load film. If anyone's had experience with these cameras (they were branded in many variants) I'd appreciate any advice offered: e.g. tell me what I am doing as I recover from a GAS attack.
This camera was said to have inspired the Hasselblad.
