Prints from the Oly Xa and Ricoh GR1

Just thrown in some office scanner and scanned on default settings. Ilford Multigrade Satin Rc paper 5x7, Tri-X and Hc110. Still getting the hang of this darkroom stuff...I think I had too much fun with the contrast.

Xa - Flare on this photo and no others...strange. Lighting seems right for flare though.

I just viewed on another monitor and woah these scans are off the mark. Did I tell you I hated scanning?

Which do you prefer ? XA or GR1 ?

GR1 by far...I am getting used to the 28mm fov and now 35mm feels too cramped. From the negatives I can see that the XA is lower in contrast and softer. Still a good lens though. If anyone wants it they can have it for $70aud 🙂 The XA is good as it is quite and looks like a toy...people wont give any notice if you snap them.
