I did an usual shooting at a circus this morning with my M8. After a few shoots, I was not able to see my images. The “PLAY” function seems not to work anymore. Normal usage. Nothing special at all to report. Just dead. The camera still shoot. It shows my shot for 3 seconds, as normal. But can't see anything else! Am I back with my old M6 but a digital one????
What can I do with that?
Thanks,
JF

Remove battery and de- and recharge it. Be careful about recording DNG+'fine' jpg's at the same time. Then the small M8 computer is stretched to it's limits. If you constanty look up the images via the 'play' function, you both stress the battery and the computer. Try recording DNG only instead. Limit the 'play' use. If you shoot DNG only the camera accepts a faster work rythm with shooting and viewing.

Of course it's not working! I am not looking at my pictures all the time, by the way. And shooting DNG all the time. Stressing the computer of a 5000$ camera? Am I stressing my MacIntosh using it to often? Never had something like that with a Canon, at near half price...
