Problem with a Leica M never ready case.

Not sure if I post this in the right place, but here it goes.
I have a never ready case for my Leica M4-P. It is that box looking black leather case and the problem is that the tab of the upper half falls off the lower half, it does not keep firmly to it.
Is there a way to fix this? I know that cameras like these should be kept out of a never ready case, but for never ready amateurs it makes a point of keeping them safe.

Do you have the front kart of the case snapped into the socket on the back properly? You put the tab into the larger half of the figure-8 socket, and then snap it into the smaller half. Unless the case is badly worn, this is usually very secure.
