Hi All,

I just had a roll done at the local CVS and it's got an unusual problem and I'm not sure if it is a scanner/processing issue or if I have a problem with my camera. Here's an image:

The entire roll has these two lines through the images. Can anyone tell what may have caused them?

Any info is much appreciated,

Jim

Thanks Chris.....you'd think I would have thought of that, but it never occurred to me :bang:

No sign of it anywhere on the negs so their scanner must not be feeling well. Good news is that I can rescan myself and still use the images.

Take care,

Jim

Those are called scan lines, usually caused by a little light entering the scanner during the scanning process or an improper startup calibration. It could also be a problem with the scanning light (whatever it's called) in that particular area.
