I am a R-D1 user and I really love this camera! But one of the problem that has been bothering me is that Epson PhotoRAW gives very different color compare to in camera jpeg (see attachment. The first one is in camera jpeg, and the second one is converted to jpeg from raw with EPR, everything set to "as shot"). I think EPR is supposed to produce the same result as in camera jpeg. (They should be the same engine, I believe.) I have tried using EPR on two computers, one Windows 7 and one Windows 8, and they both have this problem. I also tried compatibility mode, and it does not work either. Can anyone tell me how to fix this problem? Thanks in advance.

But you can call me Steve
Look at your "film" settings to see if the settings are neutral or enhanced.

I agree with Darthfeeble. Check the film settings in camera, and the colour space in camera, and in EPR.
Have you tried the EPR photoshop plugin and compared the results?

It's fairly common for RAW files to differ from the jpg's out of the same camera. I've noticed this to greater or lesser degrees in all the cameras I've owned that offered RAW and jpg outputs...
