Problem with lack of persistence of LOGIN or possibly with the edit function

I logged in and that login seemed to work as usual and then wrote a post responding to an existing thread. I saved it successfully.
After posting it I realized I had forgotten to say something and opened the edit function. I made my edits in the edit box but when I attempted to post the edits the system told me I was logged out and refused to make the post (even though they were still visible in the edit box).
I then went to my profile to see if I could access it and initially it refused as if I was logged out, then after trying again (Without attempting to login again) it let me into my profile page i.e. it behaved as if I was logged in.
Assuming I was now logged in and that this was a momentary authentication glitch I went back to edit the post I had previously attempted to edit before - and got the same result when I attempted to save it. I was told I was not logged in.
I logged in once more then came here to write this post about these authentication issues and once more it logged me out and I found it necessary to log in again. At this instance it is showing me as logged in. It will be interesting to see if I can actually post it as the issue seems to occur at the moment the poster attempts to click the "post" button.

I had issues. Perhaps need to check that box about "keep me logged in". I need to test further....

Had similar problem with sessions not persistent when I was navigating site. After I checked "keep me logged in", no problems.

Yep, we are working on it.

Lots of little glitches and hiccups to work out.

I figured this was likely to be the case, but I posted as I wanted to mention it just in case it had not been brought to your attention. (Don't you just "love" computer systems!)

Similar difficolties here, with multiple request to log in when changing where in the forum post. I know, the new site is still young, need time to fix all minor problems.
Thanks anyway for the hard work you are doing here. Grazie.
