I bought the camera used but appeared to be in excellent condition and worked fine. Have now used it for at least several months. Now the camera seems very sluggish. It will freeze at times and only "reset" when I remove and re-insert the battery. It's gotten pretty bad to where it's hard to use. Any ideas as to the problem? Thanks!
 
I would try to clean the battery contacts in the camera and the battery itself with some circuit cleaner or alcohol on a Q-tip.
Have you tried a different SD card or reformatted your card?
 
I'll try what you said. Thanks. I have noticed that when I hook my camera up to my computer to transfer files that some kind of like error message comes up saying my file needs to be fixed or something? Perhaps it is the card.
