I think I have figured out why I have had so much trouble with registering at RFF.
I first registered as RS2 in early May using my sbcglobal.net (Yahoo ISP) e-mail. I never received a confirmation e-mail, but discovered after lurking for a while that I could not post. My attempts to contact the administrators went unanswered, and yesterday I re-registered (twice actually, because I misspelled my own name!) using an AOL e-mail, and that went through successfully.
Is there a known problem with Yahoo related e-mail addresses?

From the T&C:
RFF does not allow registrations using emails such as yahoo, hotmail etc

Well, I assumed that was evidently the problem.
Curiously, my sbc is not a free e-mail, such as hotmail, etc., but is through my paid ISP service with AT&T (formerly SBC).
No real problem now that I have used my AOL account (which is a free e-mail).
Thanks!

I use google's gmail.com which is free and have had no troubles. I noticed several gmail users here.
