Problem with XA focusing mechanism

I can move the focusing lever, BUT the double image at the viewfinder ( central square ) ........doesn´t move, doesn´t merge into one !

can you help me ?

Seems to be a problem with the connection between the lever and the splitting mirror.

I downloaded the manual, I found some explanation at page D28 about focusing lever, but nothing about splitting mirror....

have I disamble all the camera to repair this problem ?

The little part in the red circle should be turned by the focusing lever to merge the two images.
The green circle shows the splitting mirror which lets the light through the viewfinder pass and brings the second image from the small auxiliary window into the viewfinder.
I didn´t disassemble a XA, but I think that the ring around the lens which has the distance scale on it will bring the small mirror in the red circle to move/turn.
I hope you´ll find some experts which have some more practice with the XA-repair.
