Hi Everyone, I am new to the RF list and I send my greetings to you all. Let me start off with a question : My recently purchased XpanII seems to have a RF problem. With the lens at infinity the distant objects don't seem to be in focus in the rangefinder patch, as if the (45mm) lens would require another 1 or 2 mm to get there even though it is fully cranked out to the mechanical end stop. The camera and lens are brand new, have never been bumped or taken a fall. I doubt this is normal and I am reluctant to bring it in for a check because there is no longer a technical Hasselblad service in Belgium, nor in France I believe (where they recently closed the facility as well). Anyone else had/has the same problem? Thanks in advance for your replies.

Where did you but the camera? If in a shop, go back to the shop and test another one so you can see if there is any difference.

I have just checked mine and it seems OK.

Is it out of alignment in the vertical? I've had mine adjusted 3 times. I haven't bumped it either, it just goes out of adjustment. The 90 mm lens is quite obvious, but the 45 mm only shows it a little. Very frustrating, given the cost of the camera. Even after adjustment (by Haselblad) it has never been perfect.
Focus is accurate, though.
Joe
