Professional Use?

Are there any professionals that solely use the XPro1 for documentary or other work? I've recently unloaded my old Canon equipment and I'm contemplating upgrading to a 5Dii or leaning more towards the Xpro. For the last three years I've shot primarily film bodies and primes for personal work and all of my paid work has been architecture/travel photos with a 5Dii and 24mm ts-e with the occasional event using the 24-70mm (hated it the zoom). Now that Fuji has updated the firmware and there is Camera Raw support; would it be a good only body (not including backup) over a dslr for a pro?

Aggregates all sorts of stuff related to xp1 and xe1. U will find pointers to both good and bad from professionals and amateurs using this equipment. Sprinkled in there are wedding photographers and other professionals. Not sure if u will find Exactly what u are looking for, but there are over 30 pages of pointers to other blogs.

I've browsed through but didn't find much. Most people complain about issues going from any dslr (Fast AF) to a non-dslr camera and that's it. Also, they all seem to be wedding photographers who just carry it around as a back-up and fire off a couple shots here and there. it baffles me how there is no real world experience at all but yet there are already professional reports with the Monochrome.

I am considering this.
For online/magazine reportage work, I wouldn't see why it wouldn't be possible.
I shot an event the other day with just the X100. It was a paid job, but not enough to make a living out of it.

My interests go to the quiet operation, unobtrusive and stylish looking form factor, Low light abilities without flash (though I use the EF-20 too), and maybe most interestingly OOC JPEG quality. Events at night, with performances in which hard shutter sounds are obtrusive. For the same reason I switched from a Canon DSLR to a GH2 for video: no loud mirror sounds each time I turn on live view (great IQ for video too BTW).

For quick event turnarounds it appeals to me to shoot the image straight to final file format and color grade, without additional processing needed. It still find the X100 a bit lacking for this in tough environments, but heard good things about the xpro/xe1 and look forward to trying it out.
