Protection pad for Leica M bottom plate (vinyle sheet)

It is black and avoid the bottom plate to get brassed. Does anyone know who sells it on the web? I forgot and can't find it anymore. And I want it for my leitz IIIa

Thanks Kim. Those are transparent sheets if I'm not mistaken. I was looking for black one that seems a little thicker. I'll keep googling but really it seems it has disapeared.

Hello:

An alternative is a Arca mount plate, RRS B30 or generic equivalent. it protects the bottom plate, gives you a center tripod socket and adds a bit of stabilizing heft. 'Not a cheap solution however.

Aki-Asahi sells both the black & the transparent. I'm using the transparent one on my camera, and it works great. I also use the top plate piece, and cut down one for use on a IIIf.

His delivery and service are absolutely top shelf, great person to deal with...

If you look at the drop menu, Aki does does black and transparent and you can order in any combination.
