protective plate on M6

M6 has a piece of protective plate (black plastic) just above the camera strap eyelet on each side to prevent constant fiction of the metal lug scratching the side of the body. Anybody has any idea where I can buy those? One plate has cracked 😱 and I'd like to replace it...

I think that the top plate has to be removed. Call DAG, Sherry Krauter, ...

Perhaps, it´s time for a CLA.

Probably be easiest to just contact Leica directly. I guess next one of the accessory companies will be selling protectors for the protective plates.
