Last roll I shot was some Kodak Gold 100. Or so I thought until I rewound the film into the canister, popped the back of the camera open and saw "MAX 400" under my nose...:bang:

It's an old roll I've had lying around, for probably more than a decade, of 24 just random photos from this week. Nothing overly special at all but like so many others before me, I'm wondering - develop at 400 and hope for the best or try pulling it to 100?

Haven't used this film in years and certainly never pulled it. Has anyone else?

Why pull it? The common practice would be to push it. Old films lack in contrast, pushing it would help with that. Pulling would lower contrast.

I shot some expired MAX 400 a year ago at 200 and developed normal. Seems fine to me:

Just develop it as normal if it is out of date it might have lost some speed? Some folks downrate 1/2 a stop anyhow.
It will look fine!
