Chris, don't use the "Quick Reply" button, instead use the Quote button or Post Reply button, then in the reply form scroll down to see the Additonal Options section, where you use the "Manage Attachments" button, navigate to your pic, etc etc... Here's your pic:

Say, Joe... I notice you have a nice gold star under your personal title above your avatar... I assume this designates a moderator. Several others of us have an animated rotating diamond-shaped grid in that location. What does this designate, please?! If this is some (divisive) status symbol, I'd like it removed, at least from my posts!!

i think the star is for mod, the rotating diamond is for premium gallery membership.

Thanks, Joe -- I did PM Jorge, then the Leica icons showed up to mask or replace the revolving diamond. He did say any change would have to be a "group" thing, implying he couldn't change it for just one member. The Leica icon seems like a stop-gap measure in response to member opposition (not just me), but is still a symbol of membership status that I'd prefer would just disappear.

I must admit that in the other forum I read, the "donor" marker does not add distinction or good tone to the name of the poster, whereas in this forum I see the small Leicas as batches of honor below the posters' names. The connotation is not negative, but rather positive, because many of them are authentically beneficial and active contributors.

Soon I'll join their group. It seems that's the one and only way to get a Leica MP at last! 🙂
