Purging an Epson C88 for storage?

Is it possible to clean/purge an Epson C88 for long term storage. Since getting my R3000, I no longer use my C88 which is set up with an InkSupply CFS with EZ inkset for B&W printing.

And given the cost of a C88, is it worth it? Should I try and find a home for it with some other photog doing digital B&W printing?

If I were you, I'd talk to Epson customer support and then post their answer here. We got lots of similar questions when I worked at Canon, and the answer varies between models (and brands I'm sure ).
