about the using low dilutions of Rodinal for pushing. It's the general consensus that pushing Arista II (most people assume it to be APX400) with almost anything is a bad idea, but I recently did a roll in Rodinal at 1:100 for two hours and I'm REALLY happy with the results. I shot half the roll at 800 and half the roll at 1600 and souped it in 600mls water and 6mls of Rodinal. I did 1 minute of inversions then stand for an hour. I did one "swish" at an hour, not a full inversion, just swirled the tank a bit, then let it stand another hour. Here's what I got:

All in all I'm very happy with the sharpness and shadow detail. The grain looks really good too. All the above pics just had levels and a very light unsharp mask applied by the scanner.
