Hi guys, I've been shooting a test roll of FP4+ that's been expired since 1997. It's got not much of value on it cos it's a test roll anyway. I've been shooting it at EI 400 though because I want to see if it's possible for this film to be pushed.
Unfortunately the massive dev chart doesn't have any numbers for pushing this film by that much, and googling around didn't give much luck, so I'm posting to ask if any of you have experience developing this film at EI 400 in HC-110 (the only developer I have on hand). What timings did you guys use?
If not, what is a general rule of thumb to calculate how much more time to develop based on how many stops a film is pushed? Do I also have to develop a bit longer if it's expired? If so, how much longer?
