so i have a question about getting the portfolio set up, so i usually scan my negatives in and print them out, they are all 35mm. But what i am wondering is when i print them i usually print them as 8x10's but im looking at portfolios and they all seem to be sized at 8 1/2x11...
i usually set up my photo with a half inch bleed all around, when i print there is a big portion still at the top and bottom, personally im not fond of this portion so i crop the paper...
my question is
1. is there a correct way to crop the photo, no the images but the paper? is the top and bottom portion correct or not...
i know there are the plastic cover slips as well as mounting the actual images which im looking at both options... but im just having problems with the image sizes.
