I just wanted to know if anyone has experience of using Pyrocat HD or M with TriX 400? I am planning to shoot 135 film this weekend, and wanted to ask optimum E.I. for development with Pyrocat. I will be printing on Grade 2 paper and/or Multigrade paper.
Yes, I have gone through the articles on unblinkingeye.com, and perused the devcharts at digitaltruth. But, most of them vary in the details they give for strength of developer and timings. So, this is a desperate attempt to find results from anyone who has tried the combination. 🙂
From the charts at unblinkingeye, I have arrived at the following approximate timings, do they make any sense?
1) shot at 400, 1:1:100 strength 15 mins @ 20 degC
2) shot at 400, 1:2:100 strength 11~12 mins @ 20degC
3) shot at 400, 1:1:100 strength 12 mins @ 20 degC (digitaltruth)
4) shot at 400, 1:2:100 strength 9~10 mins @ 20degC (digitaltruth)
I am confused. 😕
I have used this developer with Foma 100, 120 format and was very pleased with the results.
