Hey all,
Just bought my 2nd rangefinder today, and joined this forum to check on what may be a problem. I got a cononet Ql17 g-lll ql (thank you Goodwill) and stuck an Eveready 1.5 volt battery in it just to see if the meter still worked. The meter needle and aperture work well, but the battery check light stays on constantly. If I install the correct 1.35 volt battery, will that correct this problem? I just developed the first roll, and am waiting for them to dry to make a contact print. The negs look pretty good, even with the wrong voltage battery installed. I think I'll clean up the viewfinder tonight and head down to Battery Plus tomorrow. Thanks for any advice.
